Tamreezstands as a pivotal member of the PROPA Lab, where he delves into one of medicine’s most complex challenges: the biology of pain. As a dedicated PhD Candidate and a distinguished Henan Presidential Scholarship awardee, Tamreez is at the forefront of pioneering research that seeks to move beyond traditional pain management.

His work is driven by a fundamental question: how do our genes and their complex regulatory networks orchestrate the transition from acute, protective pain to a debilitating chronic state?

By focusing on this critical question, he aims to uncover the molecular drivers that could revolutionize how we treat persistent pain.
