Applications are welcome from motivated students and researchers with an interest in interdisciplinary pain research, protein science, and enzyme design. Individuals interested in joining the PROPA Lab are invited to submit a motivation letter and curriculum vitae via email to anasir@zzu.edu.cn
The Protein & Pain Research (PROPA) Lab is a diverse and interdisciplinary research group dedicated to addressing timely questions in basic science and clinical research. Our research integrates clinical and neuroscientific expertise with cutting-edge technologies, with a particular emphasis on protein mechanisms, enzyme design, computational chemistry, and their roles in pain pathways. Through rigorous experimental approaches, the lab aims to generate knowledge with both fundamental and translational relevance.
The PROPA Lab places strong emphasis on a professional, respectful, and supportive research culture. We foster an environment in which motivation and scientific excellence are built on individual mentorship, constructive communication, and collegial collaboration. A positive and inclusive working atmosphere is regarded as essential for research integrity, resilience, and sustained academic productivity.
